The Window Cleaning industry isn't a huge contributor to environmental pollution but it does have an impact, and anything
we can do to lessen any potential damage is a step in the right direction.
Our most common contribution to possible environmental damage is the use of detergents when carrying out traditional window cleaning, as
detergents have been identified as polluters of ground water and river water. At Border Window Clean we take our responsibilities seriously,
and even though it's only a small contribution, we were quick to start using environmentally friendly and biodegradable cleaning solutions
as soon as they became available.
The water-fed pole system is our most used window cleaning method, but that only uses de-ionised water. The filters in the filtration system we use
to produce the de-ionised water do need to be replaced, but we send these back for recycling to minimize waste.
Our contribution to saving the planet may be small but we do try to make a difference.
